Terms of Service

Welcome to after18.org ("we," "us," or "our"), a social community platform built exclusively for adults. after18.org enables adults to share posts, express opinions, tell stories, connect with others, and engage in community discussions across 18 content categories.

By creating an account or otherwise accessing or using after18.org's website, applications, APIs, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and after18.org.

Please read these Terms carefully before registering. If you do not agree with any provision, you must not access or use the Services.

These Terms are supplemented by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

2.1 Age Requirement — Adults Only

after18.org is an adults-only platform. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Services in any capacity. Persons under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from registering, posting, or accessing the platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to terminate any account we reasonably believe belongs to a minor.

2.2 Account Registration

To access the core features of after18.org — including creating posts, following other users, messaging, and bookmarking — you must register for a free account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information at registration and to keep that information current. Providing false or misleading registration information constitutes a violation of these Terms.

2.3 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your password with any third party or permit any other person to access your account. Notify us immediately at hello@after18.org upon becoming aware of any unauthorized access to your account. after18.org is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to adequately secure your credentials.

2.4 One Account Per Person

Each individual may maintain only one personal account. Creating duplicate, fraudulent, or impersonation accounts is prohibited. after18.org reserves the right to suspend or permanently delete any accounts found to be in violation of this policy.

2.5 Account Verification

after18.org may require you to verify your email address as a condition of account creation or continued use of certain features. Failure to complete verification may result in restricted access to the Services.

3.1 Permitted Use

The Services are provided for lawful personal use consistent with these Terms. Permitted use includes creating and sharing posts, interacting with other users' content, following accounts, private messaging, and exploring community discussions across our 18 content categories.

3.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

• Use the Services to harass, threaten, stalk, defame, bully, or harm any individual or group
• Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or impersonated information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or after18.org's systems
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from any part of the platform
• Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated tools to access or interact with the Services without express written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services or networks connected to the platform
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any individual or organization
• Use the Services to distribute malware, spam, phishing content, or unsolicited commercial messages
• Circumvent any security features, rate limits, or access controls implemented by after18.org
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services or any portion thereof without written consent
• Collect or harvest personally identifiable information from other users without their express consent
• Post content that sexualizes or endangers minors in any way

3.3 Rate Limits & Fair Use

after18.org enforces API rate limits to protect system stability for all users. Excessive requests that exceed reasonable use thresholds may result in temporary throttling or suspension of access.

4.1 Your Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for all content you post, share, or otherwise submit through the Services ("User Content"). after18.org does not pre-screen posts before they appear but reserves the right to review, moderate, and remove content at any time.

4.2 Prohibited Content

The following types of content are strictly prohibited on after18.org:

• Content involving minors in a sexual, exploitative, or abusive context — zero tolerance, reported immediately to authorities
• Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) or "revenge porn"
• Graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies self-harm or suicide
• Hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
• Content that incites, threatens, or advocates violence against any person or group
• Personal information of others shared without their consent (doxxing)
• Spam, repetitive posts, or content designed to artificially inflate engagement
• Content that violates third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
• False or deliberately misleading information presented as fact

4.3 Post Categories

Every post must be assigned to one of after18.org's 18 content categories. Deliberately miscategorizing content — particularly placing adult content in non-adult categories — violates these Terms and may result in post removal or account suspension.

4.4 Content Moderation

after18.org reviews posts before they become publicly visible. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify any content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or our community standards, without prior notice. We will endeavor to notify you of any removal where practicable.

4.5 Reporting Violations

Users may report content that violates these Terms using the Report option on any post. We review reports within 24–72 hours. For serious legal matters including NCII or content involving minors, we escalate immediately.

5.1 Adult Category

after18.org includes an Adult category for mature content intended for adult audiences. Posting adult content outside of the designated Adult category is a violation of these Terms. All Adult category content must comply with all applicable laws and must not depict, involve, or reference minors in any sexual or exploitative manner.

5.2 Absolute Prohibition

Content that sexually exploits or abuses minors (CSAM) is absolutely and unconditionally prohibited regardless of category. Any such content will be immediately removed, the account permanently terminated, and the matter reported to the relevant law enforcement authorities and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or equivalent jurisdiction-appropriate body.

5.3 Non-Consensual Content

Posting intimate or sexual images or videos of any person without their explicit, ongoing consent is strictly prohibited and constitutes a serious violation of these Terms. Victims of non-consensual intimate imagery may contact us at hello@after18.org for expedited removal.

6.1 Private Messaging

after18.org provides private messaging between registered users. Messages are private between the sender and recipient. You agree not to use the messaging system to harass, solicit, spam, or send unsolicited sexual content to other users.

6.2 Following & Blocking

You may follow other users to see their posts in your feed. You may block any user at any time from your settings. Blocked users cannot see your profile, posts, or send you messages. after18.org does not guarantee complete isolation from a blocked user across all platform surfaces.

6.3 Likes & Bookmarks

Likes and bookmarks are personal interaction features. Artificially inflating likes through automated tools or coordinated inauthentic activity is prohibited and may result in account suspension.

7.1 after18.org's Intellectual Property

All technology, software, source code, design elements, user interfaces, graphics, logos, trademarks, and original content created or owned by after18.org are the exclusive property of after18.org or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services solely as described in these Terms. Nothing herein grants you any ownership of after18.org's intellectual property.

7.2 User Content License

You retain all intellectual property rights in the content you submit through the Services. By posting User Content, you grant after18.org a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to store, host, transmit, reproduce, display, and otherwise use your User Content solely to the extent necessary to provide, operate, improve, and maintain the Services. This license terminates when you delete your content or close your account.

7.3 Representations About Your Content

By posting User Content, you represent and warrant that (a) you own the content or have all necessary rights to grant the license above; (b) the content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; and (c) the content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

7.4 Feedback

If you provide after18.org with feedback, suggestions, ideas, or bug reports, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and exploit such feedback for any purpose, without compensation or attribution to you.

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy describes in detail how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described therein.

after18.org does not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising or share it with data brokers.

9.1 Uptime & Maintenance

after18.org aims to maintain high availability of its Services. We may conduct scheduled maintenance that results in temporary interruptions. Where feasible, we will provide advance notice. We reserve the right to perform unscheduled maintenance at any time without prior notice.

9.2 Feature Modifications

after18.org reserves the right to modify, add, or remove platform features at any time. We will endeavor to communicate significant changes in advance but are not obligated to do so.

9.3 Force Majeure

after18.org shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the provision of Services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, government orders, civil unrest, power grid failures, internet backbone disruptions, or failures of third-party infrastructure.

10.1 Termination by You

You may deactivate or delete your account at any time through Settings. Upon deletion, your personal data and posts will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10.2 Termination by after18.org

after18.org reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account without prior notice if we determine that you have:

• Violated any provision of these Terms
• Engaged in fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity
• Harassed, threatened, or harmed other users
• Posted content prohibited by Section 4 or Section 5
• Provided false registration information, including misrepresenting your age
• Posed a risk to the security, reputation, or operations of the platform or other users

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access and use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification) shall remain in full effect.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, after18.org expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement
• Warranties that the Services will meet your requirements or expectations
• Warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Warranties that any content on the platform is accurate, complete, or reliable
• Warranties arising out of course of dealing, usage of trade, or any other custom or practice

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties; in such cases, the above exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, after18.org and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages of any kind arising from or related to:

• Your use of or inability to use the Services
• Content posted by other users that you find offensive, harmful, or inaccurate
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your account or content
• Loss of data, revenue, profits, business, or goodwill
• Any service interruption, outage, or discontinuation

In no event shall after18.org's total aggregate liability to you for all claims exceed INR 500 (or the equivalent in your local currency). These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory upon which the claim is based — whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise — and even if after18.org has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless after18.org, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your violation of any provision of these Terms
• Your access to or use of the Services, including any content you post or transmit
• Your violation of any law, regulation, or the rights of any third party
• Any claim by a third party that your User Content caused them damage or violated their rights

after18.org reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us.

after18.org may update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, will provide advance notice of at least 14 days via email to your registered address or via a prominent in-app notice.

Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Services and may request account deletion.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in New Delhi, India.
